Information Zing processes

• Camera frames. When you start a movement challenge, Zing uses the camera to recognize body movement. Frames are processed on your device in real time. They are not recorded, saved, uploaded, or shared.
• Alarm settings. Times, repeat days, challenge choices, sounds, and alarm status are stored locally on your device so your alarms can work and recover after the app is reopened.
• Local diagnostic events. Zing may keep technical events on your device to help explain alarm behavior. Zing does not transmit these events to us.

What we do not collect

Zing does not create user accounts and does not collect personal information, camera images, precise location, contacts, advertising identifiers, usage analytics, or tracking data. The current app does not contain advertising or third-party analytics SDKs.

Apple system services and permissions

Zing asks for camera access to run movement challenges and alarm permission to schedule system alarms. Notification permission may be used for relevant alarm reminders. Apple controls these permissions, and you can change them in iPhone Settings. Apple may process device, diagnostic, purchase, or App Store data under Apple’s own policies; that processing is separate from Zing.

Data retention and deletion

Alarm settings remain on your device until you edit or delete them, remove the app, or erase its data through iOS. Because Zing does not receive your personal data, there is no server-side Zing account or profile for us to delete.

Children

Zing is not directed specifically to children and does not knowingly collect personal information from children.
